What you’ll bring to the role:
- Demonstrate a solid background and experience in a composite manufacturing environment, recognising and understanding manufacturing processes.
- Drive, manage and maintain the Quality Management System, implement and embed continuous improvement and carry out internal audits to maintain existing ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015 accreditation.
- Broad and proven knowledge and application of CMM, dimensional and visual inspection of composite tooling and components, including first article inspections.
- Champion in-process inspection across all operational functions.
- Possess a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and various stakeholders.
- Carry out Root Cause and Corrective Actions, driving through the NCR process.
- Understand the needs and expectations of customers regarding product quality and ensure these are an integral part of the quality management system.
- Assist in the generation of rework and sanctioning non-conformance.
- Excellent understanding and interpretation of complex technical drawings.
- Analyse quality data inputs and outputs to assess quality trends and drive associated preventive actions that will reduce the risks of poor quality.

- Proven experience in a similar Production, Planning or Purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control and production planning.
- Experience with ERP systems (Progress Plus or equivalent)
- Be resourceful and adaptable with good interpersonal skills.

- Have excellent attention to detail.
