What you’ll bring to the role:

Demonstrate a solid background and experience in a composite manufacturing environment, recognising and understanding manufacturing processes.
Drive, manage and maintain the Quality Management System, implement and embed continuous improvement and carry out internal audits to maintain existing ISO9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015 accreditation.
Broad and proven knowledge and application of CMM, dimensional and visual inspection of composite tooling and components, including first article inspections.
Champion in-process inspection across all operational functions.
Possess a high level of communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with customers, suppliers and various stakeholders.
Carry out Root Cause and Corrective Actions, driving through the NCR process.
Understand the needs and expectations of customers regarding product quality and ensure these are an integral part of the quality management system.
Assist in the generation of rework and sanctioning non-conformance.
Excellent understanding and interpretation of complex technical drawings.
Analyse quality data inputs and outputs to assess quality trends and drive associated preventive actions that will reduce the risks of poor quality.

What we look for:

Proven experience in a similar Production, Planning or Purchasing role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory control and production planning.
Experience with ERP systems (Progress Plus or equivalent)
Be resourceful and adaptable with good interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under .
